GLview 3D Plugin is a free 3D viewing component enabling presentation of real FEA or CFD analysis data generated by GLview Inova or the GLview Express Writer. The plug-in can be embedded into MS PowerPoint presentations, MS Word documents and into web environments (MS Internet Explorer) and enables full 3D interactivity and high performance graphics. GLview 3D Plugin can read encrypted VTF and VTFx files, that can be created using GLview Inova or the GLview Express Writer. The files can contain the 3D model, selected scalar and/or vector results, display and animation settings, feature extractions (iso-surfaces, cut planes, particle traces) and annotations.

In version 8 of the GLview 3D Plugin, support for password protected and encrypted VTFx files was added. In addition, relative result values is supported to enable protection of secret and sensitive result data.

The plug-in is great for marketing and client promotion, and for distributed analysis environments. The plug-in has the same functionality as GLview Express, but is only available on Windows. For other platforms, please use GLview Express.
